Red Folder Music is James Stevens, and the Key Notes, singing and playing authentic, genuine music. The delivery of the songs are powerfully and melodically provided by his talented but humble cast of musicians known as the “Key Notes”.

All words and music are written by James, with some arrangements and production assistance by Chis Rosser.

Our name is inspired by the worn red folder that collected the music and songs of Jim’s mother, Sylvia Riddle.

Our desire is to bring music forward to public consumption, today in 2017. To empower ideas, thoughts and direction from local musicians and writers. To include and embrace creative thought and genuine feeling. To manifest a three generational gift that has long been given and just now able to be represented.
